About Me

It's all about finding strength from within. It's about learning from the past, persevering in the present and having the ganas, or desire, to flourish in the future. I'm an American, but I'm also Indigenous, Mexican, French and German and that's a wonderful thing. One can't be anything if one doesnt know who they are. For centuries people have been trying to break through barriers and I've gone and continue to go through them as if they dont exist.

Susan Boyle - Memories (Britains Got Talent - Semi Final)

posted Monday, 25 May 2009
Susan, is absolutely fantastic! Susan is "whole lot of something beautiful and vibrant and fantastic" to offer to the world! You have captured America; and America's collective heart beats for you.  Susan Boyle of a tiny village in the area of West Lothian, Scotland, in the North of England has a voice that is heart-rousing, inspiring, and absolutely nothing other than God-given! America loves you, Susan Boyle!
Lyrics:

Midnight not a sound from the pavement
Has the moon lost her memory?
She is smiling alone
In the lamplight, the withered leaves collect at my feet
And the wind begins to moan

Memory, All alone in the moonlight
I can smile at the old days
I was beautiful then
I remember the time I knew what happiness was
Let the memory live again

Every streetlamp seems to beat
A fatalistic warning
Someone mutters and the street lamp gutters
And soon
It will be morning

Daylight
I must wait for the sunrise
I must think of a new life
And I mustn't give in.
When the dawn comes
Tonight will be a memory too
And a new day will begin

(Music interlude)

Burnt out ends of smoky days
The stale cold smell of morning
A streetlamp dies; another night is over
Another day is dawning...

Touch me!
It's so easy to leave me
All alone with the memory
Of my days in the sun...
If you touch me, you'll understand what happiness is
Look, a new day has begun
