I'm an American, but I'm also Indigenous, Mexican, French and German and that's a wonderful thing. One can't be anything if one doesnt know who they are. Sonia Sotomayor Target Of Harsh Republicans Critiqueing aka Trash Talk

Is it because Sotomayor is a woman, Hispanic or both?  The Republican Party have furthered their self destruction with all these criticisms towards Sonia Sotomayors nomination to the Supreme Court.  It is not enough that Colin Powell has been ostracized, and that Hispanics, women and independents that the Republican Party desperately needs are being driven away, but the Republican Party has been reduced to some old white southern bigots that refuse to see that the people in this country no longer want politics of the past.  Who are these rebels?  Let's begin with...

Roberts decides on Sotomayor: He's a "no" vote  This coming from Sen. Pat Roberts who has been instrumental in the cover-up of virtually every national security scandal of George W. Bush's presidency. Roberts and his Senate Cover-up Committee have obstructed investigations into everything from false Iraq intelligence to detainee torture to the CIA leak scandal.  Then there's... 

Karl Rove and Newt Gingrich:Sonia Sotomayor Is an Intellectual Lightweight and A Racist.

Karl Rove, Newt Gingrich, along with the other haters, Ann Coulter, Rick Perry, Dick Cheney, and "entertainer" Rush Limbaugh are delusional in thinking that what they are saying will have any impact upon present or future political situations. In their cases their future is so clouded with their smoggy past, one cannot hear nor see them through their reactionary murkiness.  These people are just the product of a narrow minded, simpleton, ignorant, fear loving, bigoted and hateful dying Republican party. 

This Supreme Court fight will just bring out the worst in the GOP.  Republicans have nothing except that Sotomayor is a Hispanic woman. This fight is bringing out the same old wack jobs who are making up arguments out of thin air and are having a hard time to cover their bigoted opposition to this Supreme Court nominee.  It's absurd to take seriously any opinion or 'analysis' that any of these people spew forth these days. Their reputation seems to rest mainly on dirty, tricky  politics,   None of them are fit to question much less comment on anyone's qualifications for anything.  

Phew, I feel better now.
